Year 2 update
We had a busy first half term and the children enjoyed creating their own animal silhouette pictures of the African Savannah at sunset. They also made traditional kente cloth designs as part of our topic on Ghana.
In RE we thought about what God might be like and drew pictures of our ideas. We wrote a job description for God and discovered that there is a lot to do! We learnt about what people of faith think about God and enjoyed finding the hidden meaning in the Parable of the Prodigal Son where we made hidden meaning boxes. We also had great fun acting out the story of Moses and the Burning Bush!
- Thank you for your continued support at home with reading and spelling. Please continue to help your child by questioning them throughout their reading.
- Homework from half term is due in by Monday 26th February.
- Please ensure your child has indoor and outdoor PE kits in their bags – with trainers or plimsolls that fit.
