What a great half term!

This term we have focused our Art topic on Aliens Love Underpants. Each week we have tried different activities and then added them to our display wall outside of the Bridge for all to see and celebrate our creativity.

We have been very busy each week in Outdoor Education learning about different topics such as bugs, trees and insects. This week we were finding out more about native UK wildlife and started to explore ecosystems. We had different activities to do such as a nature treasure hunt.  We had to find different insects and artefacts outside by following arrows.  We also got to hide some artefacts and then each key worker had to find them.  It was great fun!

We also played a food chain game.  There were wooden discs with the names of creatures on laid out. Using coloured pens, we were asked to mark the creatures which were herbivores, omnivores or carnivores to make food chains or food webs.

Please note that due to the inset day on the 4th June, Outdoor Education will be on Thursday 7th June just for this week.  The remaining weeks will continue on a Monday. Please remember to check the weather each week and send in appropriate clothing.

After half term, PE will also be changing to a Friday. Please remember to send in PE kit for this.

From all the staff in the Bridge we wish you all a wonderful and happy half term.
