A few notes from Mr Applegate

  • We’d love to get 100% response for our Parent Survey for Years 1-5 – click here. Years R and 6 did this before Easter.
  • A reminder about Sports Day – Friday 22nd May – KS2 races in the morning (9-12pm) , Picnic lunch for all (12-12:35pm), KS1 and Year R races in the afternoon (1pm-3:20pm). Parents welcome. More information to follow, including a reminder of your child’s colour team!

Have a great weekend, Charles

Dance Live – So Proud!

About 100 pupils took part in the regional final of Dance Live last night. They were incredible! The judges were impressed by:

  • A real explosion of energy and colour
  • The amazing costumes and design
  • They could see the fun the children and audience were having
  • That they were all in unison and the audience were clapping along.

We are so proud of the children and staff who made this annual event happen. Thank you to all of the adults, and in particular, Mrs Boyle, for making memories for our children, and letting them experience success through hard work and creativity. And thank you Mrs Heels for making all of the costumes and Miss Carr for props!

Mr Applegate’s Marathon for FOSM and Cancer Research

On Sunday 3rd May 2026, I’m attempting my first full marathon in Southampton, alongside my daughter Hannah. We’re raising money for FOSM and Cancer Research, two charities that are important to us. We’d value your support in cheering us on!
