Hatch Warren After School Club

Another good option for our children! They are picked up from St Mark’s after school, and then walked over to Hatch Warren Community Centre where they have a cooked tea and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy.

More about Lions Afterschool Care

We are delighted to announce the launch of Lions, St Mark’s very own wraparound care provision, beginning on Thursday 3rd September. This exciting new offer is designed and delivered by our St Mark’s staff, ensuring children remain in a familiar, safe and nurturing environment throughout their extended school day.

Where will it take place?

On our school site, with children having access to our site facilities.

What’s the cost, and what does it entail?

A session will cost £17/day, and lasts from 3:20pm – 6pm.
Each session includes a light snack and refreshments. Allergies will be catered for.
There will be plenty of spaces available to book, with consistent St Mark’s staffing every day.

How will we book and pay?

Booking will be through the Arbor App, details can be found below.
Bookings for Autumn 2026 will open on Monday 13th July.
And even more exciting news we now accept Apple Pay and Google Pay as well as Childcare Vouchers!
If you intend to use Childcare Vouchers to pay towards the sessions, you must email the office to let them know so we can set up your child’s account to accept them.
If your child is joining us in Year R in September 2026, we will be in touch about how to get access to Arbor.

Can my child still attend after school clubs? How does this work with payment?

Yes! If your child attends a paid club run by a teacher on the same day as booking a Lions session, you will be issued with a credit for that paid club at the end of each term.
For example, if they attend a teacher-led “Craft Club” from 3:20-4:10pm for the Autumn Term, you would pay club fees as normal at registration. At the end of the term, we would credit club fees back, equivalent to the number of Lions sessions attended.
Remember, teacher-led after school clubs are for Year 1 onwards.

What activities will they do?

Creative activities – arts & crafts, junk modelling, clay, colouring
Imaginative play – small world play, construction challenges, role play
Social activities – group games, team challenges
Physical activities – sports, yoga, obstacle courses, trim trail, dance
Explorative activities – nature hunt, sensory play, farm visits
Quiet time – mindfulness, reading corner
And more!

Do you cater for children who need 1-1 support?

Unfortunately not. Afterschool Care is not part of the normal daily curriculum, and so we are not funded for additional adults. We will make reasonable adjustments so the provision is inclusive for as many children as possible, but 1-1 support cannot be provided.

Using the Arbor Parent Portal (website)
This is the website version you access using a web browser (like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) on a computer, laptop, or even your phone’s browser. Click here to be directed to the Portal.
Using the Arbor App
This is the mobile application you download to your smartphone or tablet from your device’s app store. It is available to download from the Google Play Store here and Apple App Store here.
How to top up your Arbor account

There are two ways to do this:

1. Select Accounts> Wraparound Care and choose the green button – Top Up Account – in the top right.

2. Select Clubs> Lions 2026/2027 and choose the green button – Top Up Account – in the top right.

You are then able to add money to your account by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
How to pay for Lions sessions using Childcare Vouchers

Please email the school office: adminoffice@st-markscofe.hants.sch.uk to let us know that you intend to use Childcare Vouchers for full or part payment of Lions Sessions.

In order to pay with vouchers we have to set up your account to accept them.

You will be able to book sessions regardless of whether your account has a credit.
Using the Parent Portal website to register your child for Lions
In the steps below, “NAME” represents your child’s name as it will appear in Arbor.

On your child’s Dashboard, open NAME: Clubs from the Activities menu.

In the box titled NAME Can be Registered For These Clubs (2026/2027), select Lions (2026/2027).

If you are paying with card/Apple or Google Pay, please click the green box titled Top Up Account before booking your child’s sessions. If you are paying with Childcare Vouchers, there is no need to do this.

Click the green box titled Register NAME for this Club.

Choose a membership option:

Book Days — select one or multiple days

Book Weeks — book a full week

Select your preferred option and click Next.

Select the sessions that you want to book. If dates are not listed, it means that the session is already fully booked.

Select the session interval 15:20–18:00 and click Next.

Click Register NAME for this club.

You will return to an overview page. Under Memberships for NAME, you will see all dates your child is booked for.
Using the Arbor App to register your child for Lions

Under NAME Can be Registered For These Clubs (2026/2027), select Lions (2026/2027).

If you are paying with card/Apple or Google Pay, please click the green box titled Top Up Account before booking your child’s sessions. If you are paying with Childcare Vouchers, there is no need to do this.

At the top of the page, tap the green box Register NAME for this club.

Choose a membership option (Tap to pick):

Book Days — select one or multiple days

Book Weeks — book a full week

Select your option and tap Next.

Under Membership Periods, tap all the days you wish to book, then tap Apply and Next. If dates are not listed, it means that the session is already fully booked.

Under Session Interval, select 15:20–18:00 for each of the days booked, then tap Next.

Scroll to the bottom and tap Register NAME For Club.

You will return to an overview page. Under Memberships for NAME, you will see all dates your child is booked for.
