School payments are now made on Arbor

Paying for the Year 6 Residential November 2026?

You’ll need to pay using SCOPay here.

Arbor at St Mark’s: A Guide for Parents and Guardians

A reminder that we have now changed our payment system from SCOPAY to Arbor.

You can access your child’s profile on Arbor in two ways:

  • Using the Parent Portal – a webpage, here. This is the website version you access using a web browser (like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) on a computer, laptop, or even your phone’s browser.
  • Using the Parent App. This is the mobile application you download to your smartphone or tablet from your device’s app store. It is available to download from the Google Play Store here and Apple App Store here.  Crucial Note for First-Time Users: You must set up your password and accept the terms of use through the Parent Portal (website) first. You cannot do this through the app.
There is now no other way to pay for school activities or meals. If your account isn’t ready, you must set it up or ask for support now.

🌟 Transition from SCOPAY to Arbor

During the Summer Holidays, all balances were transferred from SCOPAY into Arbor.  From 1st August 2026, all payments (except payment for the Year 6 residential trip) have moved from SCOPAY to Arbor.  You will pay for meals, trips, clubs, wraparound care and other items directly through Arbor.

💳 Payments on Arbor

Arbor offers two main ways to pay for school items:

  1. Payment into a Top Up Account — using a card or a childcare scheme
  2. Direct Payment — using card/Apple Pay/Google Pay

🍽 Meals

Meals must be paid for using the Top Up Account. You simply add funds to the account, and meals are deducted automatically.

🎨 Clubs (Teacher/LSA-led Activity Clubs)

For termly activity clubs (e.g Drawing Club):

  • We will continue allocating places manually, as we do now
  • You will give consent and pay for these clubs through Arbor, even though sign-up is not done via the app

🛍 School Shop

The School Shop is where you will find payments for:

  • Class treat contributions
  • Forest School food
  • Special events or themed days
  • Donations (e.g., Capital Funds)

We will email you whenever an item is added and prompt you to access the School Shop.

🎵 Music Tuition

Once lessons have been set up with Hampshire Music Service (HMS), your fee will be loaded into Arbor.

●       You will be able to pay in full or in instalments

●       A third of the total fee must still be paid by the second week of each term. Please see your terms and conditions for details.

🚌 Trips

Trips will now be posted on Arbor.  The Year 4 Residential (March 2027) is already set up on Arbor and you may begin making payments now (July 2026).

You will:

  • Sign Up via the Parent Portal/App to give consent
  • Pay in full or in instalments, where offered

Year 6 Residential Trip

Payments for this residential trip will continue to be processed through SCOPAY. The final payment for this trip is due on the 31st August.

🏫 Wraparound Care

At St Mark’s, “Wraparound Care” refers to Breakfast Club and Lions.

Please see here for more information about Lions Club.

Childcare Tax-Free Payments

Please tell us whether you will be using the Government Tax-Free Childcare Scheme or an Employer Childcare Voucher Scheme to pay. Please note we can no longer accept these vouchers for teacher/LSA-led afterschool clubs.

Complete the Google Form here.  Please complete this form even if you have already told us your arrangements, as we need to collect additional information.

The process looks a little like this:

  • You pay in money to your scheme choosing St Mark’s C of E Primary School as the childcare provider.
  • The scheme send that money to Hampshire County Council.
  • We receive the money onto our banking system.
  • We manually add the money onto your Arbor account.
  • Your Arbor balance adjusts accordingly.

As you can see, the process is much longer than before.  As long as you tell us in advance that you want to pay in this way (tell us here) we can set up Arbor to accept your bookings for Lions regardless.  The negative balance on Arbor will remain until such time as we have received and actioned the funds.  This will be happening on a regular basis from next week.

If you use both Wraparound provisions, please email us to tell us how much you want us to credit your Breakfast Club account and how much to credit your Lions account.  That would be very helpful.

Remember: we can no longer accept these vouchers for teacher/LSA-led afterschool clubs.
