A few notes from Mr Applegate
- Our Sand Pit Fun Run raised an amazing £6,718. Thank you so much for your generosity. Just think of all of the fun the children will have for years to come :)
- Our FOSM Summer Fun Day is coming up very soon on Saturday 27 June from 12pm to 3.30pm. If you can offer some of your time to help out on a stall for a few hours please sign up here or email secretary.fosm@stmarksce.org.uk for further details.
- At the end of next week, we say “Goodbye” to Mrs Little, one of our Year R LSAs. Mrs Little has been such a lovely part of our team, and we will miss her. Good luck Mrs Little in your next adventures!
- Unfortunately we have had to cancel the School Grounds Day tomorrow due to a lack of volunteers.
- Tickets for the Year 6 Performance will go on sale on Sunday afternoon. Please look out for an email with a password for you to log in to Eventbrite.
Have a great week, Charles

New Payment System for September
We are preparing to change our payment and school dinner ordering system from SCOPAY to Arbor for September. There are many benefits to using Arbor that we are looking forward to sharing with you for example using Apple or Google Pay for quick, convienient payments, ordering your child’s school dinner, paying for clubs and trips, adjusting contact details and more. As we already use Arbor, you can start preparing for the change now. You can access your child’s profile on Arbor in two ways:
- Using the Parent Portal – a webpage, here. This is the website version you access using a web browser (like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) on a computer, laptop, or even your phone’s browser.
- Using the Parent App. This is the mobile application you download to your smartphone or tablet from your device’s app store. It is available to download from the Google Play Store here and Apple App Store here.
Crucial Note for First-Time Users:
You must set up your password and accept the terms of use through the Parent Portal (website) first. You cannot do this through the app.
Please can we encourage you to try logging in and downloading the app now, ahead of September. (Some of you may have already done so). When you log in, you won’t see much, – don’t worry! We won’t activate the additional parts of Arbor until we are all set up and ready. We’ll be in touch via email with more information but for now all we need you to do is get logged in. Thank you!
