A few things to do…

  • Enjoy the FOSM disco this evening! Tickets here.
  • Years R-2: Please could your child have a school dinner on Thursday 15th May for Census Day? It positively affects our funding for next year. Burgers are on the menu!
  • Years R-5: Class Lists for September 2025: Please complete this form by Monday 2nd June at the latest

A note from Mr Applegate

  •  We had a great day celebrating and remembering VE day on Thursday. It’s so important to ensure every generation recognises and remembers the sacrifice given by so many, both in the past and also today.
  • Good luck to all of our Year 6 pupils who take their SATs next week. We’re so proud of you, and are confident in the knowledge that you are already brilliant :)

This is a modern twist on a very well known piece of music by Beethoven. The Piano Guys are an American group who gained popularity through YouTube, where in 2011 they began posting piano and cello compositions combining classical, pop, film score and original music.

SATs Week 12th – 15th May

The week of SATs is nearly here and we are so proud of everyone for their incredible attitude to learning this year. Please do not worry about a thing – you’re all going to be great!

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar Test – Paper 1 Reading Paper Arithmetic – Maths Paper 1 Reasoning – Maths Paper 3
Spelling – Paper 2 Reasoning – Maths Paper2

On each day of the tests, you can choose to come to school between 8am – 8:10am and join your friends for some fruit and a breakfast bar. Please bring £3 if you have breakfast each day at school (Monday to Thursday) . If you prefer to come only once or twice, you can pay £1 a day. If you would rather have breakfast at home, please come to school at 8:30am so we can complete our registers and get ourselves organised in plenty of time for each test.

If you have any questions at all, please let your teachers know and we can answer them quickly and put your minds at rest. You have done lots of practice work to get ready for this week so just do your best and enjoy it! You are all superstars 😎
