Year 2 Summer 1 – Terrific Tanzania
Year 2 have had a great start back to the summer term with our new project, ‘Terrific Tanzania’. The children have been enjoying learning about Tanzania and how the country is similar or different to our country. In our art learning, we have been exploring the use of paint and have started creating some African-inspired artwork. The children loved creating their own sunsets and silouette paintings and enjoyed learning about ‘Tinga Tinga’ artwork, creating their own animal artwork.

ear 1, we are loving every moment of Forest School. We are enjoying the swing and hammock particularly, as well as the mud kitchen and art and craft activities that Mr Calver has set up for us. We are remembering the Forest School rules and our learning behaviours brilliantly- walking safely, sharing responsibly and being creative in the most fun way!
