Year 5 – Thursday 30th April

Good Morning Year 5

It is nearly Friday!! We hope you have been enjoying your week of home-learning so far as we have certainly enjoyed seeing what you have created. The weather hasn’t been as sunny this week but it is supposed to be getting brighter over the next couple of days! We know we will be trying to get outside for a bike ride or walk in the sun when it arrives!

Your acrostic poems have been particularly stunning. Thank you so much for all the work that you have been sending in to us. They make us beam with pride every single time we open an email. Here is a poem about Bluebells by Pippa.

It’s so important that we don’t lose or forget these ‘Lost Words’ and your poems will help us keep using them in our everyday language and keep them alive. We think it’s so important!

Do you fancy trying to break a Guinness World Record attempt? The join in with England’s Biggest Worship!

Today (Thursday 30th April) at 10am – the Archbishop of Canterbury will be delivering a message of hope to school children across the country. It will be streamed through the Time Educational Supplement Website here. Try and watch it live to potentially be a part of a Guinness World Record!

Remember to try and look out for the blue light that we mentioned on Tuesdays post when clapping for carers!

We hope you have a fantastic Thursday.
